There are Ramadan books to suit any child, from infants and toddlers to teenagers, and all ages in between. I am sure you can find the right books for your family library here!

Your little ones are sure to treasure these books, even keeping them to pass along to their children someday. Won’t it be a blessing in the future to read these same books to your grandchilden?

My husband and I consider children’s books about Islam to be an investment in our offspring. It is both a holy responsibility and a privilege to teach our children about the Islamic religion, and about the Ramadan holidays that are celebrated by Muslims all over the world.

One of the Best Ramadan Books for Children: Under the Ramadan Moon

Under the Ramadan Moon. A favorite children’s book about Ramadan. Click here to see it on Amazon: http://amzn.to/1rKg7nZ

You and your young children will love this beautiful picture book about Ramadan. It has lovely, family-oriented illustrations and appealing rhyming text. Children from preschool to second grade will love this wonderful book. Don’t be surprised if they ask you to read it to them again and again!

This lovely book is already treasured by many Muslim families. Even non-Muslim parents are buying it to teach their children about the Islamic religion, which is a wonderful thing in this day and age. This book does a nice job of introducing Islam and Ramadan in a positive and appealing light, and helps explain why Muslims love this holiday so much.

Readers on Amazon have given Under the Ramadan Moon a five star rating. There are only a handful of four-star reviews, and the rest are all five stars. This is remarkable, for an item with over forty reviews!

Some people have bought this book for the library at their child’s school. It’s a great way to educate non-Muslims about a very special and important Islamic tradition, and this way to help to lessen the prejudice and hatred many Muslims face everyday. I think it’s a wonderful idea!

Ramadan Books for Teens

Books about Ramadan for Teenagers are hard to find. I have seen a few that just don’t measure up to my standards. I want my children to develop a positive view of Islam and not view it as burdensome. There just don’t seem to be very many positive books about Islam out there for teens. That is a shame, because the teen years are when young people are searching for something to give their life meaning.

Free on Kindle! A Ramadan book for teenagers!

That said, I did come across this little jewel. Not only is it a positive book, it is free for Kindle as of this writing. You can’t get a better deal than that!

If you don’t have a Kindle device, you can download a free Kindle reader for your computer at Amazon here, or for your android phone here.

I will continue looking for good quality books about Ramadan for our teenagers. If you know of any that you would recommend, please leave me a message in the comments.
