My husband and I consider children’s books about Islam to be an investment in our offspring. It is both a holy responsibility and a privilege to teach our children about the Islamic religion, and about the Ramadan holidays that are celebrated by Muslims all over the world.

Under the Ramadan Moon. A favorite children’s book about Ramadan. Click here to see it on Amazon: http://amzn.to/1rKg7nZ

You and your young children will love this beautiful picture book about Ramadan. It has lovely, family-oriented illustrations and appealing rhyming text. Children from preschool to second grade will love this wonderful book. Don’t be surprised if they ask you to read it to them again and again!

This lovely book is already treasured by many Muslim families. Even non-Muslim parents are buying it to teach their children about the Islamic religion, which is a wonderful thing in this day and age. This book does a nice job of introducing Islam and Ramadan in a positive and appealing light, and helps explain why Muslims love this holiday so much.

Readers on Amazon have given Under the Ramadan Moon a five star rating. There are only a handful of four-star reviews, and the rest are all five stars. This is remarkable, for an item with over forty reviews!

Some people have bought this book for the library at their child’s school. It’s a great way to educate non-Muslims about a very special and important Islamic tradition, and this way to help to lessen the prejudice and hatred many Muslims face everyday. I think it’s a wonderful idea!

Ramadan Books for Teens

Books about Ramadan for Teenagers are hard to find. I have seen a few that just don’t measure up to my standards. I want my children to develop a positive view of Islam and not view it as burdensome. There just don’t seem to be very many positive books about Islam out there for teens. That is a shame, because the teen years are when young people are searching for something to give their life meaning.
